Chef’s Table: Pizza

In the summer of 2021, I traveled to Italy with my good friend and director Brian McGinn to shoot pizzaiolos Gabriele Bonci in Rome and Franco Pepe in Caiazzo. We were honored to be nominated by the American Society of Cinematographers for the 2023 ASC Award for Outstanding Documentary Cinematography.

This pizza-focused installment of the Emmy-nominated series also profiled Chris Bianco (Phoenix), Ann Kim (Minneapolis), Yoshihiro Imai (Kyoto, Japan), and Sarah Minnick (Portland, Oregon).
